[:1]Hello, I would like to ask will those weapons and armors from HOM rewards be considered very powerful items in GW2? Im not sure if it's worth spending my time getting those HOM points though.. what do you guys think?|||They will definitely be better than any starting weapon, and if you think the skin is cool for one of them, remember that the stats for weapons and armor are going to be transferable with a transmutation stone.|||I can see them being like the current /bonus weapons. I have a feeling they will be max stats right off the bat (that is assuming weapon stats will work similarly to GW)
I highly doubt they will be Uber weapons or anything like that. Guild Wars has always been about who has more skill at playing the game, not who can spend the most money to win. More than likely, the weapons will just simply be unique skins with stats that can be found on normal weapons.
I would say there may not be a reason to waste time trying to get the stuff. I am because I'm a completionist like that. I'm so glad I only need 2 more points (I'm at 28/50...30 is the last physical item you get...at least right now)|||i just hope that the HoM armor grows with your character, kinda a useless armor when you outgrow it within the first 10 levels.|||HoM rewards are low-level rewards. However, there will be a free way to keep upgrading them, so if you like their skin you can remain competitive in high-end game.|||Quote:

Where was that mentioned? I don't recall seeing it, but I may have just missed it. That's awesome though.|||Quote:

The rewards from the Hall of Monuments are unique there is no other way to earn them and they cannot be traded between accounts or sold. For this reason, their appeal will be mainly cosmetic; they will not give the player any huge advantages over other players.[1] Any items are low level, so they can be worn by low level characters, and a mechanism, possibly an item similar to a transmutation stone, would be used to allow these items to improve as the player levels.|||Quote:

Oh goody! I sure hope the skins are nice!|||You can see the concept art at least. Considering how GW2 is so true to its art, it should give a good idea.
