Guild Wars 2, chapter 2

Linsey Murdock has been reassigned from the Live Team to work at a Very Secret Project. We have been told the Domain of Winds, visible at the GW2 maps, is a Tengu city we won't be able to reach at release. There has been some speculation that the second chapter of GW2 would include a new race, such as the Tengu.
Does someone else have the feeling that at least part of the 250 employers ArenaNet has are already working at GW2's next chapter/expansion/whatever?|||I hadn't thought about it, but if I remember correctly, that's how they've done it in the past, so it would make sense.
Just curious, but source for Linsey's move news?|||The source about the domain of winds being a tengy city is posted by me in the lore forum.
It was an interview from guildmag.|||Sorry, I meant the source for Linsey's job change news. I read the guildmag issue. Was that in there too?|||It was mentioned when John moved to Linsey's old position at the Live Team; her wiki page also mentions how she's not working at GW1 anymore, and how she's working at stuff she cannot talk about.
Who knows, could be a Black Moa Chic iPhone application, but...
Erasculio|||Hope so, as this would mean GW2 is almost done :)|||Quote:

You'd be surprised, concepting for an expansion doesn't indicate anything close to an almost done initial release. Concepting for expansions generally begins way way back. I remember back when Burning Crusade was first coming out they were talking about how they had finished all the concepting for the first expansion and had stuff started and ready for five to six more. It's mostly so they can take the ideas into consideration on the initial release so that the expansions make sense when they come about.
Though considering that Linsey has mostly been involved in quest design I guess that means they're pretty deep in.
