(See Erasculio? Told ya it would be a competition! )
It's an interesting, 3 part article.
The Story Mode of dungeons will offer weapons, while Explorable Mode will offer armor pieces upon completition.
Dungeons scale the players level. If you're too strong, you're brought back down.
The big surprise reveal will be based on dungeons. I wonder what they have to say.|||Quote:
What ends up happening is that the situation changes moment to moment and you have to react to how the situation is changing, and we hopefully give every player a bunch of tools in their toolbox to react to different situations.
Nice .

Many of the dungeons are locations that were never included in [GW1], and even includes races that are new to the game that players don’t know about yet.”

I like this a lot. Though, I hope there is stuff in the game that is hard to get so everything doesn't feel common and bland after a while (a ways down the GW2 road).|||Quote:
Shut your talk-hole, bookah. Every time you open it, you drip stupid all over my floor.
God, I love asura.|||Quote:

"And the game as a whole."
Curious.
Also found the quote about the max number of players being five to be odd. Is that just in dungeons, or the game overall, I wonder. 5v5 gvg? Hm.|||As long as the mentality of forgiving every mistake made by providing ways out of nigh impossible scenarios doesn't apply to the absolute endgame and prestige stuff, it sounds fine.|||i think it is sad how little they know about GW, their "leftovers" article had more interesting info than their cover story...|||Quote:

so will my chainsaw
seriously, I bought the mag expecting something interesting in it and was pretty disappointed. I could have waited a few more weeks and read more interesting info online from them.|||I liked the article but there are a bunch of spelling errors on it.
Denvary? Serenty Temple?
And that's just for starters

The first time you enter a dungeon (a new dungeon will be available roughly every 10 levels, with additional ones at end-game), youll enter into its Story Mode, which focuses around one or more members of the famous adventuring guild Destinys Edge (featured in-depth in tomorrows post), composed of Caithe, a nature-aligned Sylvari seeking truth, Rytlock, a ruthless and cunning commander of the Charr, Logan, a righteous, loyal defender of the Seraph throne, Eir, a wandering Norn tactician that relies on getting inside the minds of her enemies, and Zojja, a loud-mouthed, cocky inventor. Theyre a very odd combination, but their varied strengths and backgrounds ensured that they always had the tools and experience to conquer anything that came their way. For some unknown reason this legendary team has broken up, and your job is to get the band back together.
Mesmer! I knew it!
