Arena.Net continues to give smaller start-up sites a highlight by giving them an interview (something I really like). This interview is juicy as well and contains some more tid-bids on WvW. In particular, I found this tid-bid interesting.

We know that there will be minipets Guild Wars 2, but the details are still under wraps. Will minipets occupy space in a player’s inventory in order to use or present them, or will there be another mechanism? Can a player display minipets from their storage even from a distance?
Eric: We aren’t quite ready to talk about how miniatures work in Guild Wars 2. This system is one that is currently under development so when we’ve finalized more details about it we will let you know all about it.

Could this recently posted image be a minipet?
Or this?
Both of these images came from the funny GW2 images post over at MMOSite (Go here for the incgamers discussion thread: http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forum...d.php?t=497741)|||First picture looks like an "environmental item" (since the skills 1-5 are blocked out). Perhaps skill 1 means "feed", so you can feed the "mutant fish" to another creature, distracting it with that move.
Since picture 2 shows a "feed" option, the little bear shows its sympathy for you. The heats might indicate a positive non-hostile feedback.
So, no, I don't think we have seen minipets on the pictures.|||I don't know, I thought minipet on the second picture right away. If they're working on the system, minipets may work TOTALLY different than in GW1, where there's now activities / a purpose behind having them.
I sort of hope that's a minipet because I don't really want to play a ranger but OMG LOOK AT HOW SMALL THAT BEAR IS
