Rolling backwards to go forward

When you unsheathe your weapon you move slower so why not turn around and spam the roll backwards button to close the gap? it only consumes 5% energy

Because wasting half of your energy bar just for closing in on a target is totaly moronic when every melee spec has ways to counter ranged characters, be it jumps, teleports or ranged attacks of their own.
And if you're doing that just for normal travel then I don't know what to say.|||No no just imagine, key skills are on cooldown and the enemy is on low hp you know you can KO his *** by hitting him with that one skill that's still lit up, but he's got you snared you are moving slower , you turn around roll back to him turn around again and BAM.|||Ummm, I thought you could roll forward?|||Yes you can roll forwards, and it has already been described how the roll can and should be used either defensively (dodge, get the heck out of stuff etc) or offensively (catching up to people to get a hit in). You just have to be tactical about it so you don't burn all your energy.

So good idea, just a little "backwards". ;)|||I have a macro keyboard.
