Pre-orders of GW2

[:1]Has anyone else pre-ordered the game yet? I just did yesterday at a local game store, with the arrival date of Nov 3rd. Not sure if that has any legitimacy.|||I've said it before: Don't preorder an MMO unless you're getting in-game bonus items. Otherwise, it's not official.
I haven't preordered and I'm not going to until ANet announces a release date and the preoder details. What if I need to pick a retailer based on the items offered?|||GW2 is not even in beta, so it's way WAAAAY too early for preordering.
I'll wait for preorder offers to choose which bonuses I want.|||The way retail stores are going that store you pre-ordered from may actually be out of buisness by the time GW2 is released...

cruel way to say it's way to early to pre-order the game. They aren't close to a release date, and we definately will have more than four months notice of a release date.|||Hold your purse, if you pre-order now that store might actually be blown up thanks to Armaggedon!
Spread the word! Don't pre-order now, wait until you reach Heaven to play Guild Wars 2!

A friend of mine, who played GW since the first betas however, actually placed a GW2 preorder at the gameshop here before we even knew there would be a GW2 ever.
Last I spoke him, he said they still had his preorder open. Haha.|||He is lucky the store is still in business.
As others have said, I will wait for official release date from ANet and details of preorder bonuses before I preorder.|||I guess too late for me. I hope it comes out before the shop closes ;).
At least I will have a copy reserved in case it sells out on the first day.|||Well, there's no harm in pre-ordering now... baring the apocalypse or discontinuation of that store chain, the pre-order should still be good whenever ANet posts a release date. But knowing GW I'm sure there'll be some sort of pre-order goodies, so I'd wait for those.
