The subject says it all.
Assuming the GW1 economic scenarios, and knowing whatever we know so far on GW2, what do you have in mind?
Use all available character slots on day1 so that the birthday gifts are there for u first, to be sold?
Mastering the map and start taxi services?
What are u thinking that may enable you to hoard money to be used for elitist armies and weapons or whatnot?|||I just think about having fun first and worrying about economics second^^
But seriously seeying how my current GW experience rolled over past 6 years, I don't think I'll have money issues, playing the market is the easiest, yet most daunting way to make money. And that is what I do.|||Playing one character mainly at first, get the endgame goodies, and sell them for profit.
I don't care about skins anyway, so anyone who's ahead of the noob curve will make a profit.|||I've never approached a game wtih the idea of playing it to accumulate in game wealth. Games that don't provide me enough resources to play it without having to earn extra gold (unless I have a specific purpose or goal in mind) don't get played any longer.
Then again, I've never been a, "guy with the most toys wins", kind of person in RL, either.|||Play through, see how much cash I have at end game and go from there. Most likely I'll probably hunt down crafting materials and sell them on. No matter how easy they are to gather there'll always been people too bone idle to get them themselves.|||I have more money than I know what to do with in GW1 just by playing through the game. If things stay relatively the same in GW2 then I won't have to think about it.|||I may make a few charicters on the first day, but that will be to secure names that are not guarentee'ed mine from the HoM.
I also have more money than I care for in game, and I won't make any plans to worry about $$ in the game. I only worry about $$ IRL and I'll play that game called the stock market for that.|||I never have had to concern myself with money in games that have an auction house. I am the master of those, and I will be able to accumulate any needed wealth there without much hassle.|||I don't care much about possessions either, but some titles and achievements require spending. And yes, I do like titles etc.
General rule though is that new shineys cost lots, old shineys not so much. So a good strategy is to get the shineys early, sell them off, and buy them back much later when prices have dropped.|||I think I'll play the game for about five or six years without really spending much and making sure to pick up and sell every piece of vendor trash that drops for me the whole time. Then one day I'll realize I have more money then I know what to do with and just buy some chaos gloves. Worked for me so far.
