Anet summer schedule

By the looks of it, we won't be getting any big news until mid July?
Any thoughts?|||From the blog

What are you doing this summer? ArenaNet is making big plans for this year’s tradeshow season and we want you to join us. Read on for a breakdown of what we’re up to this year!
Just like last year, we won’t be attending E3 this year. Instead, we’ll continue to focus on shows that allow us to share Guild Wars 2 directly with gamers.
San Diego Comic- Con (July 21-24) How could we miss the granddaddy of all pop-cultural conventions? We’ll send an elite team of artists and devs down to the San Diego Convention Center to meet fans and do signings. Drop by the NCsoft booth to play Guild Wars 2 and try your hand at the engineer!
Gamescom (August 17-21) in Cologne, Germany will be our first European show this year, and as usual we will bring a playable demo along and will show you a bunch of new surprises that we can’t talk about yet - you’ll have to stop by our booth to see for yourself! We will also have our traditional costume competition for our European fans, so start gathering your crafting materials!
Rest is for the weak! The weekend after gamesom, our entire studio will descend upon PAX Prime (August 26-28) here in Seattle. This is our home turf, so expect big surprises, cool swag, interesting panels, and a ton of Guild Wars 2 demo stations.
Sure, summer is officially over by the time we reach October, but we’re not done yet! We’ll return to Europe once more for the massive Paris Games Week (October 21-25), where we’ll bring our hands-on demo for our French fans – enez nous dire bonjour si vous passez dans le coin!
That’s what we’ve got planned so far, but keep an eye/ear open for further announcements. It’s going to be an awesome summer for Guild Wars 2 fans!

I still expect Gamescon & PAX demos to be about PvP, because it is about time for some info on that topic.
With ComicCon reserved for the Engineer, I guess we will have another lore race & the Asura week before that.|||That is exactly what I was referring to ... does it mean that from now and Mid July we get nothing but small tit bits? Thats a long 45 day wait... **grumble**|||The "Big surprises" for the Aug conventions sound good, assuming it's not just another race week with a short video and a wall of text about someone's inspiration on the race.
But seeing as how they have Paris Games Week for Oct 21, I'm starting to believe the 2012 release predictions.
I'm glad they hyped the game so far in advance. Woooo.|||Quote:

Six weeks is nothing. We have waited much longer for info in the past.|||Still, I understand where the TS is coming from... We want some hands on experience with GW2, and as soon as possible!!!|||I'm gonna try going to Gamescon, as soon as I figure out if there are other pay methods than Visa, mastercard and all that **** -_-|||Well, we may get a few small bits between now and the beginning of July.|||Sounds good. GamesCom will have some big surprises? I'll be there.
