Dear Unofficial Guild Wars forum members

Hi! :)
My name is Levelor (name's a dang typo! :S) and I've been a member since 2006 and have been visiting this forum until 2009-2010 when I stopped playing Guild Wars. This forum was probably the first actual forum I participated in with some passion and interest.
In my roundabout journey on the internet I've observed a lot of different communities based around games, movies, art and plenty more in general but they all have the same certain quality. It's difficult to have a discussion or a friendly one at most, without somehow having it dive down into a really bad argument or slugfest of personal attacks.
I sometimes drop by once in a while on this forum to check on the GW2 updates, and it's nice to see everyone here happily talking about this game. I feel that this is the most mature community I've come accross (more mature than me at least) and I thank you guys for being patient with me and my past shenanigans wether you remembered me or not.
What I'm trying to say is when GW2 comes out, and the new younger demographics of people come into the forums, wether they will be good or bad, I will always remember the original community that made this game a pleasure for me to play and talk about. Until then, I will be hanging around and checking out the updates :)

I mostly just lurk around and watch what people say about the updates. I'm really hoping there is some gunner class so that I don't have to rely on the ranger which is somewhat dependant on their pets to maintain some damage potential :)|||Agreed: Community here is one of the best around!|||Quote:

I do agree with you Levelor, these forums are pretty darn good .|||I gold myself personally responsible for all the best bits of the forum and everyone with a green name for all the bad bits
Nice to see you stick around and lurk Levelor - we're all just waiting for it to kick off and we'll all be back to competing over best builds and game mechanics like any group of people with a new toy.
Hopefully this long period of solace has granted us the ability to welcome a new group to the community and make them feel at ease when the time comes...
